During my recent stay at the Astra Motor Lodge, I found myself enchanted by its close proximity to Hamilton's treasures. Being a solo traveler, I cherish places that meld comfort with convenience, and this lodge does that beautifully. Just a stone's throw away, I explored Hamilton Gardens and discovered local dining gems like Cafe Fresca and Early Bird Kitchen. One evening, I decided to dine at the hotel's restaurant. The ambiance was laid-back yet inviting, a perfect backdrop for a dinner alone. I savored an innovative dish that showcased locally sourced ingredients, a testament to the culinary talent that thrives in this region. The spacious room enhanced my getaway - I relished returning to a cozy space with a lovely kitchenette to prepare light bites. Not to mention, the shower's pressure was a delight after a day out wandering the town. I was saddened to find the Astra fully booked on my next planned visit to Hamilton; clearly, I'm not the only one who appreciates this quiet retreat. I look forward to returning for more culinary adventures in the future.
